Long time no blog...

Dear fellow bloggers....

I haven't blogged for a very long time, I finished college and I began my summer which was extremely busy to say the least, I completely lost motivation towards blogging and fell out of my routine and just became overall lazy...

However, I have now started university and am slowly getting back into a routine, so my blog is going to be back on track!!!

Although I don't have many followers, its nice to see people are still following me despite not blogging for a long time. I am now going to be blogging a lot more frequently.

I am going to do a few blog posts now to catch up on and then try and do at least one blog post a week :)

So for one of my birthday presents my boyfriend took me to a spa for the night, we went swimming, went in a sauna, steam room, outside jacuzzi. We also got a back massage and a 3 course meal! I've had a lush weekend so I thought I'd post my outfit for the meal!

Update and favourite S/S13 trend

Heyyy guys! So recently I've really lost inspiration for all things blogging, I'm forever comparing my blog to better and bigger blogs and then realise mine isn't that great!  I want to get back into posting more regularly, because even though my blog isn't that great, I do enjoy posting and getting my opinion across and out into the fashion world!! I'll be posting a lot more often! Pinky promise :)

Spring /Summer 13 trend!

All things white!! This trend is my absolute favourite, I'm a big fan on monochrome as it is. But this white trend is completely taking over. Even though it is a bit daunting for us messy people! It looks so chic and is solo simple to put together! These are some of my favourite celeb outfits!

I am a big fan of the high street and they are also going crazy for the white trend! Here are some of my favourite pieces from the high street

Obvious nail post & a cheeky review

So anyone that lives in the UK and shops in boots, will have had a £3 off No7 makeup voucher, so I picked up this gorgeous lilacy grey colour called Winters Tale. I paired it with a Wet n Wild nail varnish, which if I can remember correctly I purchased from Walmart when I went to Colorado earlier this year. I really like this combo and think the bright glitter works well with the cool shade.

After my friend telling me about this and saying how good it was, I decided  to give it a try. Its the Nail Experts - Liquid Freeze from Avon. Its a quick dry freeze spray, you spray it in freshly painted  nails, and it just speeds up the process of drying. Its the first time I've used it and I have to say I am pretty impressed with it! I'd definitely recommend it to my fellow nail varnish lovers!!

Celebrity Tag

soooo.. I have never ever done one of these, but I have been tagged by the lovely Katie to do this celebrity tag. I used to always do things like this on my MySpace (oh the days!), so I'm quite looking forward to doing this one!!

Instructions:

1. Tag and link 3 or more people to do this. (Don't tag someone that's already been tagged.)
2 Leave a comment on their blogs telling them that you've tagged them and link your tag.
3. Make sure you credit and link Ahem, It's Emme, and the person who tagged you on your tag post.
4. You must answer all of the questions!
5. Copy and paste the instructions and the questions onto your post. (Make sure you copy and paste the questions portion by itself too, so it's easy for the people you tag to do this tag!)

Questions:

1. Who are your top two celebrity crushes and why?
2. Have you met any celebrities? If yes, who and where they're from if others may be unfamiliar with them. (Pictures would be great.)
3 .Do you personally know any celebrities? If so, any fun experiences?
4. Which TV show cast would you most want to be friends with and why?
5. Which movie cast would you most want to be friends with and why
6. Which movie character would you most want to portray and why ?
7. Who is your celebrity style inspiration and why?

1) well if anyone knows me, they will know that I am in love (honestly in love) with Example - I've seen him 8 times in the past two years and cried every single time!! And my 2nd one is a hard choice! Very close cut between David Beckham and Millie Mackintosh, I know there is a bit of a difference between them, but they are both heavenly!!

2) back in my emo days, I have met many many band members, and I do have pictures but they are a tad embarrassing haha!! So I have met; Elliot minor, We Are The Ocean, Ed Sheeran, Devlin, Pro Green, Drizzle Kicks, Wil Francis and all of Aiden, Dev Patel, Jal from skins, Passion Pit, and more but I can't remember names!

3) My life would be a lot more interesting if I did

4) Hands down, the friends cast!! How fun would life be if you were part of that gang!! Oh and if that's too much to ask for, then I'm sure the Made In Chelsea cast will be fine :)

5) wow this is a hard one, probably any Adam Sandler film just so I could be best friends with him hahah

6) hmmm, I really don't know!! But some dumb blonde probably haha

7) OK, get ready for the list!!! Victoria Beckham, Queen B, Kim Kardashian, Millie Mackintosh, Fearne Cotton, Kelly Brook, Mila Kunis, Lauren Conrad

My tags are;

1) Chloe

3) Bethany

Queen B

I have absolutely fallen head over heels for Beyonce recently!! From her music, to her fashion to her and jay-z's relationship!! Solo Queen B has recently launched her h&m campaign, and I am in love!!

001. So first of all this dress!! I have seen a few pieces with images on recently, and I haven't been too sure, but this dress is absolutely stunning, its such a nice summer piece, and a bold statement dress for a night out, paired with plain heels and clutch!

002. These shorts are heavenly. These would look amazing with a plain black American Apparel halter leotard. And like normal B looks amazing in them!! All of the collection is sooooo cheap and definitely well worth it.

Aaaaaaand watch this, I fell in love with both of them ever more!!

Beauty wants

001. Johnsons holiday skin body lotion - as its coming up to summer and I am pale as anything, I feel its that time to get the tanning lotion out, I've used this various times in the past and I have mixed thoughts about it. It does give great coverage and tans a small bit with a nice glow, but the smell is awful! Its like I've just rolled in a pack of crushed biscuits!! If anyone can recommend a better one please let me know :)

002. Inhibition - Topshop - I am in loveeeee with plum lipstick. I think they suit absolutely everybody. I've heard really good things about Topshop lipstick and I am yet to try! This colour is absolutely gorgeous, its a really rich plum which is lovely! Definitely a future investment

003. Fiji - Essie. I have heard everybody raving about this nail varnish. the colour is a really cool light pink, almost close to white. Its a real girlie spring colour. I have over 100 nail varnish and do not have one Essie polish. I've never really heard any reviews but their colours are absolutely beautiful

Sorry I haven't really been blogging much recently, I have lost inspiration!

Summer is on its way

Regardless of the fact we are reaching signs of spring/summer, I am still dressing in black. I have been in love with this vest as long as I've had it (nearly two years), its so baggy and long so covers everything, and I love the grungy design on the front. Paired with my obvious Joni jeans, and my brand spanking new flatforms! Which I adore!!!!

ootd

So I recently went shopping again (ooops...), and I just had to pick up this crop top from Topshop. I have seen many people wearing this and I love it! Its bang on the monochrome trend at the moment. Because its black and white it goes with just about anything! I paired it with my trusty Joni jeans, and some Primark flats! My nail varnish is actually the 17 magnetic nail varnish but it didn't seem to do anything, so its just plain purple (sucks!!)

Missguided haul

This was actually two different orders, but I thought I would do a haul for all of it together just because its all from missguided.co.uk. I have seen a lot of people wearing bowler hats recently, so I thought I would buy one to see what it looks like, and it could add a dressier feel to any outfit. I purchased a red midi skirt, as I have said in a lot of my posts, I'm loving the midi look at the moment, and I thought a red skirt might add a nice pop of colour to the outfit, so I could team it up with a trusty black top and heels! The tie dye crop top is something purely for summer, to wear at festivals with  high waisted shorts/skirt, but I could also pair it with my Joni jeans or disco pants and chuck a leather jacket on top. As a massive lover of black, the ss13 monochrome trend is right up my street. I fell in love with this jumper as soon as I saw it. I love the detail of the white across the chest and how it continues along the sleeve.

Wishful thinking

Hopefully working so much over this Easter period I will actually be able to afford all of these. I am absolutely loving midi dresses at the moment and cannot want to fill my wardrobe with them. I am also loving the dungarees that are  recently, I think I will definitely purchase some soon, regardless of whether they suit me or not, although I do think I'd look like I'm still in primary school if I wore them. I have been on the fence for a while whether to buy creepers or not, I think my inner emo wants them a lot more than I actually do. But I fell in love with these flatforms, so as soon as payday comes around (tomorrow yay!) These beautys will be mine! And last but not least, the famous city bag!! I have the worst luck with bags and mine are forever breaking at the most annoying times (just before I'm about to leave for college, on the bus, at college) but I feel, if I splurge that extra bit more, I may find one that won't break on me!!

Suns out, tums out!

Today I have gone for an effortless look, yet still pulls off the stylish casual. The sun is shining so I decided to show a bit of flesh! But cause of how high waisted Joni jeans are, it really is only a slither of flesh! I am going to team this up with my trusty leather jacket because there is a cold breeze

Haul - Primark and Topshop

So today I went to Cardiff with my friend (I'm from Bristol just so you know). Nothing was really catching my eye anywhere, I had a list of things I wanted and tried to stick to that purely to save money!!

From Primark I picked up the flat shoes (£8), I have studded ones similar to this but without the cutout bits. I liked these as I thought they would look really cute in the spring with some jeans! I also picked up the tie dye bodycon midi dress (£10). I am a massive fan of midi dresses at the moment, I love how figure hugging they are and really show off your curvers (perfect for a hourglass girl like me). I quite like the studded detail along the collar, I think it just adds a bit more to the dress.

From Topshop, I got the black skater skirt (£16), I tried this on when I got home and I'm not sure if I'm keen on it or not, so I may take it back, it is lovely but just not sure its me! And I have a million nail varnishes and i really didn't need them, but at 2 for £8 how could I resist!!! I chose 'prim and proper' and 'moondance'. I'm yet to try Topshop nail varnish, but I have heard good reviews!

Baggy is sometimes best

This is one of my all time favourite blouses!! This picture doesn't really do it justice, its actually a deep green colour! Even thought its a size 8 its really oversized and baggy, and you can just chuck it on over jeans and it still look good. I bought this from Forever 21 in america! I fell in love with it when I saw it on the hanger and even more when I tried it on - and too add to that, it was in the sale for $8. Bargain!

I have added a chain around the collar which I have doubled up because its actually really long! - i'm pretty sure I got the necklace from Boots but I can't remember. I love wearing necklaces under collars I think it looks really cute and changes the whole outfit

I have paired with this my favourite Topshop Joni jeans,
they are my go to jeans and go with absolutely everything! This outfit can be made to look dressy with heels, or just an easy daytime look with flats! I've paired mine with my Nike Janoskis! These are my favourite trainers and go with everything (including dresses which I love). The trainers coordinate with the shirt because the tick is pretty much the same colour!!

All Black Everything

Being blonde I feel I am able to get away with constantly wearing black (maybe the fact I used to be the ultimate emo might have something to do with it). And really I'm just adding to how rubbish the weather is at the moment, but revealing  my stomach a bit I seem to be trying to force myself in to believing summer will come soon!

I recently picked this lipstick up from boots (17 surpreme shine lipstick - deep secret). I have been looking for a dark lipstick for ages but MAC lipstick isn't my favourite!! I absolutely love this lipstick and at the moment its definitely my go to lipstick!! Also makes my teeth looks loads whiter. Result!!!

I also recently picked up this necklace from primark, I absolutely adore statement necklaces, they can change a whole outfit, which is great when you really can't find anything interesting to wear. I love the spikes, but I'm not too keen on the chain part, maybe this is a bit too statement for me!!

My top is from American Apparel, its just a basic black long sleeve cropped top. This is an xs I think, and it is so figure hugging in the right places! I love the long sleeves because it means it can be worn when its not that warm because there isn't much flesh showing, and can be easily dressed down or up!!

These are the Topshop Joni jeans! As soon as I first saw them I had to buy them, regardless of how skint i was!! I absolutely love how tight and high waisted they are! I am a huge fan of high waisted clothing, (with huge hips/bum and a tiny waist its definitely the right look for me). They are so comfy! The only downside is the white stitching shows on the side, apart from that  I cannot fault them!
