Harry Potter Studio's | Abi Street

So me and my best friend Ellie recently paid a visit to the Warner Bro's Studio Tour in London. And wow, I was not disappointed!! I have heard so many amazing things about it, and as a big Harry Potter fan I have been wanting to go for ages, but never got round to it!

We booked to go away for an overnight break on our reading week and also went to London (a blog post will be coming soon for this). If you love Harry Potter then I 100% recommend it. I learnt things about Harry Potter that had never crossed my mind.

So here we are, only some of the photos I took, yep you read that right, only some!! I am sorry for how long this post is, but I found it hard to choose which ones to put in.

Thanks for reading,

Real Techniques Nic's Picks Review | Abi Street

When I heard about 'Nic's Picks' limited edition set I could barely contain my excitement. I only had 3 Real Techniques brushes so was so excited to add to my collection. This set is limited edition designs and 3 exclusive cuts. I purchased this in store from Superdrug for only £20.00 (down from £30.00 in the Christmas sale) which I think is absolutely amazing considering you're getting 5 brushes.

*excuse the dirty brushes, I couldn't help myself but to try them*

The set contains a Duo Fibre Powder Brush, a Cheek Brush (set exclusive), an Angled Shadow Brush (set exclusive), a Base Shadow Brush and an Eyeliner Brush (set exclusive). The only brush I'm not too keen on is the Duo Fibre Powder Brush because I feel like it isn't dense enough to really apply any makeup, but it might just take some getting used to. I love the Angled Shadow Brush, it is really useful when applying to the crease.

Overall, I am really impressed with these brushes and am so so glad that I purchased them.

Climbing Garth Mountain | Abi Street

My absolute favourite thing to do in Autumn is to go for long walks with good company. That is exactly what I did on the 1st of November. Me and Luca decided to walk up Garth Mountain. Garth Mountain is located near a village Pentrych in Cardiff and It is 1007ft from sea level.

Luckily, the sky was quite clear that day which was what we had hoped for because we had heard the views from the top of Garth Mountain were amazing. And honestly, it made me speechless, the view was lovely and you could see for miles! None of the pictures I took did the view any justice which is a shame, but its one of those places where taking pictures shouldn't be a priority, and just taking in the surroundings are.

It took us about an hour and a half to walk up, but Luca decided to lead us on a detour (even though he had no idea where he was going, but boys will be boys!) By going on this detour we ended up walking through a farmer's field where we then saw a sheep carcass - so horrible, poor little sheepy! And also getting shouted at by an angry farmer for walking through his fields. After we apologised a lot, he was actually really nice and told us the easiest way to go.

When we got to the top, it was obvious that some selfie's were needed for our success of climbing our first mountain together, then we just took in the view. The clouds were beginning to come but you could still see for miles and miles. It was so nice to be out of the city and just surrounded by fields and peace and quiet. The views were breathtaking and you could see in every direction. The only bad thing about being at the top of Garth Mountain was that it was freezing cold, I stupidly didn't prepare for this so had to wear Luca's jumper.

If you live in Wales then definately go and walk up Garth Mountain, so nice for an autumnal walk!

Zoella Beauty Review | Abi Street

So everyone will know of Zoella now, due to her recent explosion of success. Similar to Tanya Burr, I have been watching Zoella for years and have always loved her. When she released her products I was really looking forward to trying them because they aren't just your average beauty products.

I feel like all of Zoe's products really represent her. From the cute packaging with the polka dots, to the rose gold lid on the body mist and the actual type of products they are. I decided to only try out the candle and the spray because these are the things I would use the most. I bought both of these products in store from Superdrug. The 'Let's Glow Candle' for £5.00 and the 'Blissful Mistful Fragranced Body Mist' for £8.00. I feel like both of these prices are really reasonable for her products.

I absolutely adore this. Zoe describes this as 'a super light and feminine body spritz to scent your body with fresh and floral notes' and its just that. Its such a light scent that is easier to wear for day to day use. The packaging isn't too bulky or heavy so you can carry it around in your bag.

I've only recently tried this candle out, but once again I love the packaging. It's just so cute. As it's getting into autumn, I cannot resist burning a candle. The fragrance for this is really light and not too overpowering. However as the candle itself is quite small, the flame gets quite big which can become quite a fire hazard.
