Wanderlust | Abi Street

Similar to many other people, I want to travel the world. I want to explore other cultures, see how people live on the other side of the world to me and create loads of amazing memories. When people ask me 'Where do you want to go travelling?' I always reply with 'Everywhere'. I honestly do want to go to as many places as possible, whether that be on a holiday or actually travelling.

I thought I would do a blog post on some of the places that I really really want to go to.

1. South Africa (Image Source)

Embrace a little bit of danger in Cape Town, South Africa.

To me South Africa has been somewhere I have been wanting to travel for years. I want to go on an incredible wildlife safari to see all the beautiful animals. I really want to go cage diving with sharks. I want to go hiking and watch sunsets with beautiful views. I want to meet locals and really explore the local culture. I want to see the buildings and arcitecture. I think Africa is an absolutely beautiful country. The South African accent is my favourite so that is a bonus.

2. Australia (Image Source)

Bondi Beach Sydney Australia

Whilst I was in secondary school, one of my best friends moved to Adelaide in Australia. Since then, I have been dying to visit to Australia. I am constantly swooning over her Instagram and Facebook pictures. I know a fair few people that have travelled to Australia and it just always looks so beautiful. I feel like I would love to live in Australia. The culture and way of life just seems like something I would adore.

3. Poland (Image Source)

I think that visiting Poland would be an extremely overwhelming and eye opening trip. Alongside the beautiful architecture of the city, there is so much history to explore. This would be so overwhelming, but at the same time, I feel like it would be extremely interesting and you would be able to learn so much more than you ever could in a history class.

4. Venice (Image Source)

Bridge of Sighs, Venice, Italy {local legend says that lovers will be granted eternal love and bliss if they kiss on a gondola at sunset under the Bridge of Sighs as the bells of St Mark's Campanile toll}

Being described as one of the most romantic cities in the world. I would love to go on a city break to Venice with Luca. I absolutely love the thought of waking up in the morning and taking a trip on a gondola and then going for a lovely breakfast. It is such a beautiful city that I need to explore asap!

5. Santorini (Image Source)

Santorini Island in Greece. This is the main town called "Phira". Santorini is a volcano island. Get a travel itinerary for Santorini at www.Guidora.com

I am currently trying to convince my mum, dad and Luca to go away to Santorini for a holiay this year. Santoini looks absolutely beautiful. It seems like it would be perfect for a weeks holiday, quiet little walks, local restaurants, blue sea!

Where do you want to visit? Any of these places?

Lost In Wonderland | Abi Street

My wonderful best friend recently turned 21. To celebrate her birthday she had a mad hatters tea party at her house. I thought I would do a blog post about it, because I knew how incredible the decor would be, and I was not let down! It was such a lovely evening, drinking tea, champagne and wine and eating so many cakes all handmade by her mum and sister! (Simone and Milly if you're reading this, the cakes were sooooo yummy!!!

I just want to say a massive happy birthday to Alice!! I hope you had a wonderful time. Everyone should go and her follow her on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest

My Trip To Amsterdam | Abi Street

So if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, (If you don't you should head over and follow me on both now) you will be well aware that I recently took a trip away with my bestest uni pals to Amsterdam.

We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days which was a great amount of time, although I wished I had longer out there because I loved it so much. We stayed in a 6 person room in a Hostel called Inner Amsterdam which I would completely reccomend. Inner Amsterdam is so close to everything (We had bikes, so it obviously made this faster, but walking wasn't bad at all). There is a supermarket just across the main road and also the Van Gough Museum and Rijks Museum and the Iamsterdam Sign.

We rented out bikes for nearly the entirety of the time we were in Amsterdam, and I 100% recommend getting bikes. I have to admit the first day is stressful and scary, but once you get used to the roads it is so so fun! We had the best time just cycling round on our bikes, its such a good way to get around to see the whole of Amsterdam.

I got a bit excited when I was out there, just because it is such a beautiful city and it seemed like a waste not to take hundreds of photos. This is only a small number compared to what I actually have. So excuse the amount of photos, but I was slightly snap happy!

Enjoy!

If anyone wants a post about tips for Amsterdam? Where to eat etc then let me know and I will do a post about that!
